Abstract:
Hospital culture is the collective consciousness formed in the process of health service delivery, and physician-patient relationship is the key human connection in hospital clinical practice. Hospital culture contributes to the construction of a harmonious physician-patient relationship in the direction of social values, restriction of morality, cultivation of humanism, extension of popularity, and mechanism of monitoring. The present unharmonious physician-patient relationship may be induced by the lack of confidence, inefficacy of communication, scarcity of solicitude, limitation of professional service, and recognition diversity due to the unperfected legal provisions. It is an appropriate way to constitute a harmonious physician-patient relationship by improving the construction of hospital culture. Hence, fundamentality of building up a harmonious physician-patient relationship is to reinforce the construction of hospital culture, the guarantee is to improve the material condition, and the key method is to develop the hospital management.
