Abstract:
OBJECTIVE: To establish hepatic carcinoma-bearing mouse model and to study the effect of the aqueous extract of Semen Litchi on the growth of solid tumor in mouse model. METHODS: S180 and hepatic carcinoma cells were mixed in a ratio of 1∶ 1 and diluted with N. S to form tumor-bearing ascites suspension. 24h before administration, each rat was inoculated hypodermically with 0. 2mL suspension, and the whole process was finished within 60min under asepsis condition. Then S180 and hepatic carcinoma cells of the mice were treated with Semen Litchi aqueous extract for 10 consecutive days and the growth of S180 and hepatic carcinoma cells, Bcl-2 expression in hepatic carcinoma-bearing mice and the apoptosis of hepatoma carcinoma cells were observed.
