Abstract:
10 strains of rotavirus C-1P6 causing acute diarrhoea in under 5- year - old - children were cultured on African Rhesus monkey kidney cells. Only 4 strains were adapted in the mixture of monkey MA104 kid cells. Results showed that in the most favorable medium, not all strains of virus could be adapted and grown properly.
