Abstract:
Objective To test the influence of Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG (LGG) in down-regulating the IL-8 production in Caco-2 cells induced by TNF-?. Methods Caco-2 cells were treated with living LGG (1?106 CFU/L) with or without the presence of TNF-? in the culture media. The production of IL-8 was measured by quantitative ELISA.
