Abstract:
Objective:To compare clinical therapeutic effects of simple TCM and simple western medicines on ulcerative colitis.Methods:Randomized effect model of Meta-analysis was used for quantitatively combined analysis on research literature about simple TCM treatment of ulcerative colitis with controlled study of simple western medicine from 2000~2004 in China.Results:Of 744 cases in the simple TCM treatment group,698 cases were clinically effective,and among 493 cases in the western medicine control group,335 cases were clinically effective.The stable rate total OR(odds ratio)=6.60,95%CI was(4.60,9.47) in the simple TCM treatment group,with significant difference between the two groups (P
