- Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effect of rhubarb on blood coagulation in patients with sepsis.Methods: Thirty septic patients with normal blood coagulation were randomly divided into two groups:(treatment) group and control group.Both groups were treated with routine integration treatment,and(additionally),the treatment group was treated with rhubarb via nasal tube.Prothrombir time(PT),thrombin time(TT),activated partial thromboplastin time(APTT),fibrinogen(FRG) and platelet count(PLT) were detected before and 1,3,7 days after treatment in the two groups.Results: At 7 days after treatment in the treatment group,PT,TT and APTT all increased,while both FBG and PLT decreased compared to those of the control group(all P
