Abstract:
Confucius's theory is rich in ethical thoughts about health. Besides the famous thought of "The kind is to be longevity" , it also includes the following points: First, he combined the behavior of maintaining health with virtue and he thought caring for life was a kind of virtue. Then, it included moral quality which was good for health: ①Obeying etiquestte; ②Surpressing lust by rationality; ③The doctrine of the mean. And at last, he puts forward health notion of caring for life but not living on in degradation and pay attention to the value of health. These thoughts are of great significance even in today.
