Abstract:
Based on survey, this study compares the main problems of the medical ethics before and after SARS. It indicates less occurrences of problems during SARS than ever, but more again after. But in general, the study shows insignificant changes before and after SARS. In different periods of time, the main problems are all embodied in five aspects, i.e., medical staff provide poor services for the patients, medical staff pursue their own interests in work, the patients have to wait in long lines for their turns, medical staff are slack in work, and payment for medical care. Exactly speaking, the most outstanding aspect is waiting in long lines, followed by payment issue, poor services, being slack in work, and pursuing own interests in work.
