Abstract:
OBJECTIVE:To study the inhibiting effects of ligustrazine and ciprofloxacin on proliferation of cultured human fibroblasts of conjunctiva.METHODS:The human fibroblast cells of conjunctiva were treated with different concentrations of ligustrazine and ciprofloxacin. The inhibitive effects was measured with MTT.RESULTS:Both ligustrazine and ciprofloxacin induced inhibition of growth of cultured human fibroblasts of conjunctiva in a concentration-dependent manner.CONCLUSI_ ON:Ligustrazine and ciprofloxacin can prevent the development of PVR effectively and may provide a clue to use them in the clinical practice.
