Abstract:
Objective To evaluate the risk factors of pediatric indirect inguinal hernia. Methods A hospital-based case-control study was performed. One hundred and three indirect inguinal hernia cases with two -fold controls (206 cases) were enrolled. Parents were interviewed for their charateristics before and during conception. Unconditional logistic regression model was used for single factor and multivariate analysis to estimate odds ratios and their 95% confidence intervals by SAS 6.12 computer software.
