Abstract:
Objective To analyse the lung function parameters of the patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) to explore the clinical significance of lung function in the diagnosis and evaluation of COPD. Methods The lung function of 558 patients with COPD from January 2000 to April 2003 in our hospital was retrospectively analysed by using SPSS 10 0 software. Results The average ages of the 558 patients were 57 6?9 7 years, 78 9% of which were male. Patients with grades Ⅱ and Ⅲ COPD accounted for 70 2%.
