Abstract:
Objective To observe the effects of hyperbaric oxygen on treating osteoporosis pain and increasing life quality in the elderly. Methods 45 osteoporosis patients with spontaneous pain were randomly divided into two groups: the control group treated with calcium and experimental group treated with calium and hyperbaric oxygen. The two groups had not significant difference in bone mineral density before treatment.Results After twenty days treatment the pain was significantly relieved and quality of life was significantly increased in the experimental group compared with the control group (P
