Abstract:
The skin and tunica mucosa of mice lips were cut off by surgical opera-tion. To the local wound of mice lips was applied the basic fibroblast growth factorwhich was produced by gene engineering method. The time to achieve a complete healingtook 4-5 days. The time for control group, bFGF+heparin group and heparin grouptook 9-10 days. These resuits suggested that bFGF had an accelerat healing effect to thelip tissue of mice. Obviously heparin can inhibit the biological activity of basic fibro-blast growth factor.
