Abstract:
In the experiment, we found anisodamine and tetramethylpyrarine show- ed preventive effect On pulmonary edema in rats. Capillary permeability was estimated in this study. The intravenous injection of Evans blue was extracted by formamide from the rat lung by using the improved Keij Udake method, and also gathered from the brocho-alveolar lavage (BAL). It was found that the Evans blue extracted from the pulmonary edema rats lung was 23.6?7.5, which was much higher than that from normal control rats(6.3?2.6) and also much higher than that from anisodamine prevented rats (12.3?9.3) and TMP prevented rats (15.8?11.0). The Evans blue in BAL in pulmonary edema rats was, 19.1?3.8, which was much higher than that from normal control rats (0.26?0.06) and also higher than that from anisodamie prevented rats(0.83?0.37). This result confirmed that anisodamine and TMP could inhibit the increase of pulmonary permeability in rats.
