Abstract:
Pulmonary edema was induced by Adrenallne (Ad) administration (0.1mg/kg) in 20 rats. This type of edema is similar to neurogenic pulmonary edema. Acute progressive respiratory distress, eynosis and dyspnea occurred. All died within 5 min after Ad injection and the pulmonary index (PI)was 1.70?0.47((?)?SD). The PI of normal control group was 0.48?0.06 in 20 rats. Only temporary respiratory distress was found in the anisodamine prevented group. One of 23 died in 20 min after Ad injection. The mortality decreased to 4% and PI was 0.74?0.39 in 23 rats. In the tetramethylpyrarine prevented group, the animals only had temporary dyspnea and returned to normal quickly. The mortality decreased to 20%. PI was 0.83?0.55 in 20 rats. Results showed that PI of edema group was much higher than that of other three groups. All P
