Abstract:
The suppressive effect on acute transplantation rejection by aminophylline was reported. Islet transplantation in mice was used as a model. Aminophylline was given orally on 3 days before transplantation and this procedure lasted for 7 days after transplantation, It was shown that the mean survival time (MST) was significantly prolonged to 31.9?12.6 days of amtnophylline treated group in comparison with 15.0?2.7 days of the control groups.
