Abstract:
In order to explore the cellular mechanism of antishock effect of anisodamine (654-2), the changes of intramitochondrial magnesium during late hemorrhagic shock were observed. Results showed that there exists a negative correlation between the blood plasma magnesium concentration and arterial blood pressure in shocked animals and at the same time the magneium content of liver mitochondria reduced significantly; 654-2 prevented the decrease of mitochondria magnesium and the increase of blood plasma magnesium, and improved the prognosis of the shocked animals. These results indicate that 654-2 may protect the liver mitochondria of shocked animals at a cellular and subcellular levels.
