Abstract:
The distribution of properdin factor B (Bf)allotypes and their gene frequencies in 81 patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) was investigated using high voltage agarose gel electrophoresis and subsequent immunofixation, in an attempt to define whether specific Bf allotypes were associated with the disease.
