Abstract:
Osteoporosis is a serious public health problem affecting a large number of postmenopausal women worldwide,with severe consequences including vertebral fractures.The incidence and mortality of vertebral fractures are closely related to osteoporosis.To diagnose or treat osteoporotic vertebral fractures accurately,a number of diagnostic and surgical approaches had been developed.Postmenopausal osteoporotic vertebral fractures get more and more attention from the scholars home and abroad.The progress of the diagnosis and treatment were discussed in this article.
