Some consideration about the treatment outcomes on 56 cases of open fracture of 2 femural bones

Abstract:
In 2000-2003 year period, at the Hospital 103, 56 subjects suffering from 2 open fractures of the leg were admitted. Among them, 82.14% were traffic accident (male 80.35%), the most had got fracture at medium 1/3 and 1/3 at lower of the leg (whole 76.78%), 55.36% on the left leg, 78.56% of the victims had had open fracture of 1st grade and 2nd grade (according to Gustilo scale). The treatment was mainly an atella fixed with screw (76.78%). The intervention gave good and very good results in 85.17%. Postoperative complications occurred in 10.71% of cases, mainly were infection 5.35%.
