Abstract:
After a description of the concept and characteristics of metaliteracy, the main institutions shouldering the task of metaliteracy education were summarized, including government and fund organizations, faculties, scien-tific research office, and teaching group. Of these institutions, library plays a major role in metaliteracy education since it is not only the main driving force of metaliteracy education and the institution to make,file and maintain the resources for metaliteracy education, but also is the organizer, coordinator and manager of metaliteracy teachers.
