Abstract:
Objective To explore the effect of lamivudine on clinical relevant indicators of patients with liver cirrhosis after splenectomy. Methods 30 cases of patients with liver cirrhosis after splenectomy from July 2002 to July 2012 were selected in Ningxia Shizuishan First People's Hospital, and randomly divided into control group and observation group, each had 15 cases.Control group underwent splenectomy only, the observation group was given oral lamivudine, 100 mg/times, one times/d, taking more than one years after splenectomy. The changes of HBV-DNA ration, liver function, prothrombin time and other indexes of the two groups before and after treatment were observed in the treatment process, and the complications after treatment were also observed. Results The hepatitis B virus gene ( HBV-DNA ) quantitative examination results of patients in observation group with negative rate was 33.33%, the control group had no change; total bilirubin(T-BIL), alanine aminotransferase(ALT) in observation group decreased significantly than control group(P <0.05), albumin(ALB) increased significantly(P <0.05), prothrombin time(PT) also decreased significantly ( P<0.05).There were two cases of complications such as ascites, gastrointestinal bleeding in the observation group, which eight cases in control group, the difference was significant. Conclusion The combination of lamivudine treatment on patients with cirrhosis after splenectomy improves the life quality of patients, safely and effectively promoting the rehabilitation of patients.
