Clinical analysis of interventional therapy in 32 patients with budd-chiari syndrome

Abstract: Objective To discuss the clinical effects of interventional therapy in patients with BCS. Methods 32 patients with BCS were treated with interventional therapy under the guidance of color Doppler ultrasound and DSA,and the clinical effects were analysed. Re-sults The success rate was 90. 6% (29/32),and 11 inferior vena cava stents were implanted. There was no serious complications such as pulmonary embolism,no intraoperative deaths. Postoperative complication rate was 12. 5% (4/32),including 1 case of acute renal failure who died with treatment failure,2 cases of acute heart failure,who recovered after the anti-heart failure treatment,and 1 case of bloody ascites be-cause of hepatic vein rupture who recovered after hemostasis and anti-infective therapy. The recurrence rate was 9. 7%(3/31)during the fol-low-up. Conclusion Intervention therapy can obtain a more desired therapeutic effect with smaller trauma,faster recovery in patients with BCS,and it is becoming the preferred treatment method gradually.
