The application of color Doppler flow imaging examination in diagnosis of liver tumor

Abstract: Objective:To investigate the diagnostic value of color Doppler flow imaging(CDFI) in the diagnosis of liver tumors.Methods: UE, CEUS, and CDFI were performed in 104 patients with liver cancer who were admitted to our hospital from January 2013 to December 2014, in order to analyze the diagnostic value of three methods for liver tumor compared with the pathological results.Results: The 115 masses of the group included 97 malignant masses(84.34%) and 18 benign masses(15.66%). The diagnostic accuracy of CDFI for benign and malignant liver tumors was 55.56% and 74.23%. There was no significant difference between UE and CDFI in the diagnosis of benign liver tumors and CEUS was higher than that of CDFI and UE in the diagnosis of benign and malignant liver tumors. There was no statistical difference in the diagnostic accuracy of CDFI combined with UE and CEUS(x2=2.20, P=0.138).Conclusion: CDFI is a basic method for the diagnosis of liver tumors. The CEUS or UE can be used to improve the accuracy of diagnosis for the liver which is not typical or small lesions.
