Abstract: ObjectiveTo observe the therapeutic efficacy of acupuncture at Zhiyang (GV9) and Lingtai (GV10) in treating stomachache due to cold.MethodSixty patients were randomized into an observation group and a control group, 30 in each group. The observation group was intervened by acupuncture at Zhiyang and Lingtaiplus TDP radiation, while the control group was by acupuncture at Zhongwan (CV12) and Jianli (CV11) plus TDP radiation.ResultThe total effective rate was 100.0% in the observation group versus 93.3% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Acupuncture at Zhiyang and Lingtaiis effective in treating stomachache due to cold.
