Abstract:
Childhood obesity is a huge problem threatening children's health,which has reached epidemic proportions around the world and is associated with several metabolic and cardiovascular complications.Tolllike receptor 4 is a transmembrane receptor of the innate immune system.Studies have showed that metaflammation reaction mediated by inflammatory signaling pathways of Toll-like receptor 4 is closely related to childhood obesity.In this paper,studies on childhood obesity and TLR4 are reviewed.
