Abstract: Objective To develop a portable end-tidal carbon dioxide monitor for the patient's physiological monitoring during the process of the first aid and transport.Methods MCU was used as the core of the control system to communicate with the ETCO2 detection module and the SD memory module. The power supply module and software system were realized for the monitor.Results The monitor had high stability, reliability and performances.Conclusion The monitor meets the desired requirements, and can be used for the monitoring of the patients during first aid or transportation.
