Therapeutic Observation of Acupoint Injection at Renying (ST9) for Cervical Vertigo

Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupoint injection at Renying (ST9) in treating cervical vertigo. Method Sixty-two patients were randomized into a treatment group and a control group. The treatment group was intervened by acupoint injection at Renying, while the control group was by regular acupuncture treatment. The clinical efficacy was evaluated after a treatment course. Result The total effective rate was 93.7% in the treatment group versus 80.0% in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05);the symptom and function scores were significantly changed after intervention in both groups (P＜0.05). Conclusion Acupoint injection at Renying is significantly effective in treating cervical vertigo.
