Abstract:
Invasion aud metastasis are the major biological characteristics of malignant tumors.The studies in past decades showed that lymphangiogenesis was closely related to cancer metastasis.The metastasis of tumor is a complex pathological process which involved in multiple genes and protein factors.This review discussed the structure and physiological characteristics of the lymphatic system,elaborated the factors in lymphangiogenesis,the relationship of metastasis and lymphangiogenesis,and major mechanism of tumor metastasis through lymphatic vessels.
