Abstract: Calcitonin gene-related peptide( CGRP) is the strongest vasodilator discovered to date,the synthesis and release of CGRP are regulated by multiple factors.CGRP possesses multiple biological func-tions,such as vasodilator,myocardial strengthener,lung protector,brain protector,immunomodulator.It plays an important role in regulating the function in the body.
