Abstract:
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical significance of phosphorylationepidermal growth factor receptor (p-EGFR) in psoriatic lesions of skin. Methods Sixty-four patients with psoriasis were enrolled as psoriasis group,20 cases with mild,28 cases with middle,16 cases with severe. The 30 cases with normal skin tissue were collected as control group. The protein expression of p-EGFR was detected by immunohistochemical analysis. Results The integrated optical density of p-EGFR protein in control group and psoriasis group was 42.53 ± 14.54,95.56 ±33.28,respectively,there was statistical difference (P < 0.01).The integrated optical density of p-EGFR protein in mild, middle and severe patients was 67.26 ± 21.33,92.45 ± 31.64,136.37 ± 40.51,respectively,there was statistical difference (P < 0.05).The integrated optical density of p-EGFR protein in head and face, four limbs, and other place was 97.54 ± 32.62,93.28 ± 33.71,96.35 ± 32.47,respectively,there was no statistical difference (P > 0.05).Conclusion The activation of epidermal growth factor receptor signal pathway maybe involve in the nosogenesis and development of psoriasis.
