Abstract:
Objective To compare the two kinds of general anesthesia and spinal canal anesthesia method for elderly surgical patients of postoperative cognitive dysfunction ( POCD) .Choose the anesthesia methods for clini-cal,reduce POCD provides the basis .Methods 60 patients undergoing surgery anesthesia which were older than to years were divided into general anesthesia group and spinal canal anesthesia group in the two groups ( each group 30 cases),the application of the Mini-getting state ( MMS) test method respectively before anesthesia , patients were matched for 24 hours and 72 hours after the operation test .Results 24 hours, after general anesthesia group of 14 (46.7%),spinal canal anesthesia group of eight (26.7%)patients had significantly lower cognitive function; After 72 hours, there were still three general anesthesia group patients MMS was low ,and cognitive function in spinal canal anesthesia group were back to normal .Compared with the preoperative MMS test basis values ,two groups of patients with postoperative 24 hours MMS values were reduced .General anesthesia group by (23.97 ±3.16) points to (22.37 ± 3.75)points ;Intra-spinal canal anesthesia group fell from (24.73 ±2.98) points to (23.87 ±3.25) points.MMS compared two groups of preoperative and postoperative 72 hours there was no significant difference (P >0.05). Conclusion To prevent cognitive dysfunction in elderly patients ,spinal canal anesthesia should be preferred as elderly surgical patients anesthesia .
