Abstract:
Objective To investigate clinical efficacy of arthroscopy of minimally invasive techniques for treatment of knee joint osteoarthritis. Methods One hundred and twenty patients with knee joint osteoarthritis were selected. The patients were divided into treatment group and control group by random digits table method with 60 cases each. The treatment group was treated with arthroscopy of minimally invasive techniques, and the control group was treated with traditional methods. Results The average followed up time was 18 months. The preoperative knee joint range of motion in treatment group was (62.5 ± 5.5)°,in control group was (64.5 ± 6.5)°,there was no statistical difference (P > 0.05).The postoperative knee joint range of motion in treatment group was (92.5 ± 4.2)°,in control group was (70.5 ± 4.5)°,the postoperative in treatment group was significantly better than that preoperative in treatment group and postoperative in control group, there were statistical differences (P < 0.05).The excellent and good rate in treatment group was 96.7% (58/60),in control group was 73.3% (44/60),there was statistical difference (P <0.05).Conclusion Arthroscopy of minimally invasive techniques has small trauma,is an ideal method to treat knee joint osteoarthritis, and is worth to be applied in clinical.
