Abstract:
As an emerging technology, the lung ultrasound has been increasingly used in neonatal practice.Lung ultrasound has many advantages, such as non-ionizing,widly available, there is no hazards to the operators and the patients. It can be performed at the bedside,easy-operating,protecting the operators and patients from radiation, being performed at the bedside, especially being suitable for dynamic observation in seriously ill infants. Most importantly, the lung ultrasound has a very high accuracy and reliability in diagnosing pulmonary disease. In order to improve the clinical application of the lung ultrasound to diagnose neonatal respiratory distress syndrome, the major ultrasound imaging characteristics of respiratory distress syndrome and the key operating elements of ultrasonic examination were described.
