- Abstract: Contact with coral may cause a rare type of contact dermatitis, and the resulting skin reaction can be divided into different reactions: the acute, delayed and chronic types of coelenterate dermatitis. Granulomas of delayed skin reactions have rarely been reported. Herein, we report on a rare case of a delayed reaction of the skin to coral injury, and the patient displayed superficial granulomas and atypical CD30+ lymphocytes.
