Abstract:
Objective To investigat the influence of glycosylated hemoglobin on cardiovascular events in patients with coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus.Comparing different glycosylated hemoglobin level on cardiovascular events and prognosis.Investigating the chronic disease management and risk control. Methods From January 2012 to June 2012,152 patients with coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes were selected.Analysed the data, including (1)history:DM duration, family history, take medicine and outpatient follow-up et al,(2)biochemical characteristics:fasting blood glucose,HbA1 c,postprandial glucose, uric acid and fibrinogen et al,(3)morbidity of fetal and non-fetal myocardial infarction, arrhythmia, heart failure and ejection fraction.Divided 152 patients into two groups depend on glycosylated hemoglobin ≤6.5% and > 6.5%.The morbidity of acute cardiovascular events, mortality, biochemical characteristics, ejection fraction, medication and outpatient follow-up at home were compared. Results The patients who glycosylated hemoglobin was >6.5% had a higher fasting blood glucose、fibrinogen、uric acid and left ejection fraction than those patients who glycosylated hemoglobin ≤ 6.5% (P < 0.05).Those patients who glucosylated hemoglobin≤6.5% had a better chronic disease management. Conclusion In those patients who with coronary heart disease and type 2 diabetes, glycosylated hemoglobin compliance can significantly reduce the risk factors for cardiovascular events. So good chronic disease management is very important.
