Clinical analysis of montmorillonite powder combined with zinc gluconate in the treatment of 74 children with diarrhea

Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of montmorillonite powder combined with zinc gluco-nate in the treatment of infantile diarrhea .Methods According to the digital table ,74 children with diarrhea were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group ,37 cases in each group .The treatment group was admin-istered with montmorillonite powder and zinc gluconate ,and the control group was given montmorillonite powder .The clinical efficacy and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups .Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 91.9%,which was significantly higher than 81.1%of the control group(χ2 =3.891,P<0.05). There were no obvious adverse reactions observed in the two groups .Conclusion Montmorillonite powder combined with zinc gluconate therapy can effectively reduce the time of diarrhea in children ,and has no obvious adverse reac-tion,so it is worthy of clinical promotion .
