Abstract: The pathogenesis of migraine is not fully understood as yet. Recently, with the development of ultrasonography, some stud-ies indicated that the prevalence of right-to-left shunt (RLS) seemed to be higher in migraine, especially in migraine with aura. The progress in the relationship between migraine and RLS was reviewed.
