Abstract: Objective To investigate the knowledge,attitudes and practices of higher vocational college students related to H7N9,in order to provide evidence for health education in colleges.Methods Using cluster random sampling method,a total of 986 students were investigated by self-administered questionnaires.Results The awareness of H7N9 was different among genders and grades.Schoolgirls and students in grade two had a better knowledge of H7N9.About 30.93 percent of students were nervous and afraid of H7N9,among whom schoolboys had a higher percentage than schoolgirls.Most students got the information of H7N9 by mobile-phones and computers.Conclusions Students of higher vocational college need a deeper education in the knowledge of H7N9,targeted education should be carried out to cultivate healthy behavior and promote mental and physical health of students.
