Abstract:
The cross-sectional study was carried out to investigate plasma malondialdehyde (MDA) concentrations of 104 patients with cervical cancer pre-post radiation therapy at K Hospital and of 35 healthy women as controls. The result showed that: the plasma MDA concentrations in the patients significantly increased, compared to the controls (p0.01). The concentrations after radiotherapy increased more than before radiotherapy (p<0.05). The plasma MDA concentrations of the patients gradually increased following to the disease’s stages: IIa compared to Ib stage (p<0.05), IIb compared to Ib (p<0.01) and IIIb compared to IIb (p<0.05). The MDA concentrations also increased by aged
