Abstract:
Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) family not only plays a role in bone formation,but is also involved in metabolic disease such as obesity and diabetes.The molecular structure,signal pathways,roles of BMP in regulating glycolipid metabolism,current situation and prospects in related diseases are mainly discussed.
