Abstract:
Ischemia-reperfusion injury is common in clinical treatment.Free radical induced oxidative stress plays an important role in this process.Recently,it is reported that hydrogen can selectively scavenging hydroxyl radical in rodents,thus alleviate ischemia-reperfusion injury.Since hydrogen is easy to penetrate the barriers in the body with littie adverse effects,it is hopefully to become a promising agent against ischemia-reperfusion injury in the future.
