Analysis effects of 30 cases of clavicle fracture treated with locking plate

Abstract:
Objective To analyze the curative effects of treating middle-third comminuted fracture of the clavicle with locking plate.Methods Thrity cases with clavicular comminuted fractures were treated with locking plate.Results All patients were followed,the average follow-up period was 12(6-18)months.The patients all healed well.According to neer shoulder function scoring system,the results were excellent in 20 cases,good in 8 cases,fair in 2 cases,the excellent and good rate was 93.3％(28/30).Conclusion The locking plate for clavicular comminuted fractures has advantage of less damage,rigid fixation,high healing rate,low rate of complications and early motion.
