Abstract: Targeted or comprehensive culture based microbiology laboratory automation has become reality in clinical laboratory diagnosis of infectious diseases,to shorten the time for identification of microorganisms such as bacteria,yeasts and mycobacteria.Automation includes automated plating,staining,blood culture,identification and susceptibility system,matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time of flight mass spectrometry,and middleware for Laboratory Information System and Management Information System link.
