Effect of early rehabilitation intervention on acute cerebral infarction

Abstract: Objective To investigate the effect of early rehabilitation intervention on acute cerebral infarction.Methods 132 patients with acute cerebral infarction were evenly divided into the observation group and the control group: the former received early rehabilitation intervention and the latter routine nursing intervention.The two groups were assessed and compared with Fugl-Meyer Assessment(FMA),Bathel Index(BI)and Self-rating Depression Scale(SDS).Results The scores on FMA and BI in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05),while the scores on depression in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The early rehabilitation intervene may improve the motor function and activities of daily living and reduce the degree of depression.
