Abstract: Objective To evaluate the influence of ankle pump motor on deep vein thrombosis after surgical operation.Methods 138 cases of patients after surgical operation who were assessed as high risk patients,were randomized into the study group (70 cases)and the control group (68 cases),routine nursing was adopted in the control group,while in the study group,ankle pump motor was adopted in addition.The incidence of deep vein thrombosis was compared between two groups.Results No deep vein thrombosis was found in the study group,while 1 case of thrombosis was detected in the control group,but there was no statistic difference.Conclusions Ankle pump motor was easy and convenient,and can prevent deep vein thrombosis by promoting the reflux of the lower limbs,improving the recovery of patients after operation,and increasing nursing quality as well.
