Analysis of the effect of methatrexate applied in two different ways for treatment of cesarean scar pregnancy

Abstract:
Objective To compare the effect and safety of methotrexate applied partly and systemically to treat cesarean scar pregnancy.Methods 21 patients diagnosed with cesarean scar pregnancy were selected and set to observation group.50mg methotrexate was injected into the masss of attachment with guide of ultrasound.19 patientswith cesarean scar pregnancy were set to control group,and methotrexate was intramuscular,1 mg/kg weight.Mifepristone was used in both groups,50mg a time,bid for 3 days.Results The cure rate of observation group was 95.2％,while 68.4％ in control group,the former was higher than the latter(P ＜ 0.05).The time of concentration of β-HCG recovery and masss of attachment disappearing were (15.3 ± 2.1) d and (31.8 ± 9.5) d,while those in control group were (30.8 ±7.4)d and (55.7 ± 12.1) d,and the time of observation group was shorter than that of control group (P ＜0.05).4 cases of adverse reactions were observed in observeation group,while 13 cases in control group,the incidence of adverse reactions in observation group was lower than that in control group(P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The effect of methotrexate applied partly was better than systemically,less dosagation and better safety.
