Influence of early rehabilitation training to the prognosis of elderly patients with cerebral apoplexy hemiplegia

Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of early rehabilitation training on functional recovery in elder stroke patients with hemiplegia.Methods Thirty-two elder stroke patients were divided into two groups,early group ( started at 7-30 days after onset) and late group( started at 3-6 months after onset).Both groups were treated with the same routine iatreusis and rehabilitation treatment,FIM scales evaluated before,one and two months after treatment respectively.Results FIM scales of two groups showed no significant difference before rehabilitation ( P ＞ 0.05 ).But compared with the late group,there was significant impropvement in the early group after two months'treatment( U =2.742,P ＜ 0.01 ).Conclusion Early rehabilitation training had obvious effect on promoting the motor functional recovery of hemiparalysis patients,and could improve the clinical effects.
