Influence of nursing intervention on quality of life of uremic patients with restless legs

Abstract: Objective To explore the influence of nursing intervention on quality of life of uremic patients with restless legs. Methods 60 uremic patients with restless legs in our hospital from June 2009to December 2010 were divided into the observation group and the control group with 30 patients in each group according to the nursing method.The control group was given conventional nursing,the observation group was given strengthening sleep nursing and psychological care on the basis of the control group.The psychological status,sleep status and quality of life were compared between the two groups. Results The psychological improvement in the observation group was better than that in the control group,sleep time and insomnia proportion in the obeervation group was better than that in the control group,the score of life quality in the observation group was better than that in the control group. Conclusions Nursing intervention can improve adverse psychological state in uremic patients with restless legs,improve aleep quality and quality of life.
