Changes and significance of serum ET-1 、TNF-α and VEGF in patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy

Abstract: Objective To observe the changes of serum ET-1,TNF-α and VEGF in patients with hypertensive disorder complicating pregnancy ( HDCP),explore the significance of cytokines in HDCP and the relationship between cytokines and HDCP.Methods The serum levels of ET-1,TNF-α and VEGF in 60 patients with HDCP and 30 normal pregnant women were detected by ELISA.Results The serum levels of ET-1,TNF-o in HDCP group were higher than those of the control group( all P ＜0.05).The serum level of VEGF in HDCP group was lower than that of the control group ( P ＜ 0.05).Negative correlation was observed between VEGF and ET-1,TNF-α in HDCP group (P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion The serum levels of ET-1,TNF-α increased significantly,while the serum level of VEGF decreased.ET-1,TNF-α and VEGF may play important roles in ipathogenesis and development of HDCP.
